Having taken 2013 to get to know Gold Dancer, 2014 was a great year for me. I started off by jumping lots of 1.20m with Paddys Spring in the spring tour then went eventing with Gold Dancer. We won in KIlmanahan and then upgraded to one star. We then jumped a super double clear in Kilguilkey CIC* winning the Fernhill special prize for most outstanding young rider. After this we went double clear again at Camphire International CIC* again competing against the senior riders while I was still only 14. I finished out the season with a win in Ballinamona on Castleview Topaz for Carol Gee and getting named on the HSI youth development squad for showjumping.

I'm currently in my Junior Cert year at school but hunt most weekends in the winter with my dad with both the Wexfords and the Bree Hunt. I train side by side with my mum once hunting is over and this year I’m very excited to have Gold Dancer aiming for Ballindenisk International and will make a plan for the rest of the season after the Junior Cert.
